Why did they write the Declaration of Independence

They wrote the Declaration of Independence because many people were angry at  Britian. People were tired of paying the extremely high taxes without any representation in Parliament. They also wanted America to be a Country so they could make the laws and taxes instead of what Brithian wanted. Those are some of the reasons why they wrote the Declaration of Independence.
